Mini Other Kwentos of the Non-Touristy Stuff: Singapore

Mini Other Kwentos of the Non-Touristy Stuff: Singapore | July 2016

Nagplan ako ng OOTDs namin for this trip and bumili kami ng matchy white Chucks. Pakinggshet sa Chucks, worst shoes to wear kapag maraming lakarin! Sheket ng likod ko palagi towards the end of the day.
IKEA and Henderson Waves Bridge yung itinerary namin for that day. Pawis na pawis si Kulas hahahaha. Hindi kami fit. Hingal much.
Pero hoy ang saya sa IKEA. Umeksena kami ng 500 Days of Summer.
Oh well, requirement yata yun sa bawat lakad.

Ihahabol ko pictures pag sinipag ulet ako mag post.

Celebrating Small Victories

040620mon175150

Wala talaga akong makabuluhang hobby.
I'll try mamaya. I will try to try.. ;p

On this post, I want to celebrate our small victories these past few days

Our Kitchen Sink
But over the past few months, super duper humina na tulo ng gripo. Mas malakas pa ihi ng bata. Gusto ko na sya ilista and mark as priority sa mga things to-do after ng Covid-19 crisis ang pag-paayos/papalit ng gripo.
Panget din quality ng tubig namin dito. Not so Prime ang water Mr Villar! And I suspect na meron na-clog na deposit or something sa gripo.
Winelcome ni boss yung thought na yun (about mineral deposit/clog) when I mentioned it to him kahit generally di agad sya naniniwala sakin ;p. So kinalikot nya yung gripo with matching palo ng screwdriver or what not. Then voila, lumakas yung daloy ng tubig!
I cannot believe na it would only take na pukpokin to have that problem solved. It's almost comic!

Our LPG
Nung lumipat sila ate Andrea, binigay nya yung LPG nila kay boss. It was a newer kind of LPG tank. Pero nung naubusan kami, amateur that we were, bumili kami sa there-there na tindahan ng LPG.
Super duper panget kalawang level yung pinalit.

So nung naubusan na ulet kami (parang ambilis pala, ilang months ba dapat tumatagal yung 11kg?), bumili na lang kami ng bago with the new / safe tank and all from Phoenix Fuels. Oo mahal. Pero para yun maka move on si boss sa disappointment nya sa sarili nya for allowing the there-there LPG tindahan take our maayos na tank.

Our Washing Machine
Ngayon lang kami bumili ng washing machine. Nagpapa laundry lang kami dati. But now, sarado laundromat 'coz of Covid, mauubusan kami ng damit. Nag try ako mag kusot less than 12 pieces, giiiiirrrrl, 'di ko talaga kinaya. Twice lang yun nangyari. Magiging resentful ako 'pag inulit ko pa. That's what I get for leaving my fit lifestyle.
But offline mga machines na malapit and umabot sya sa SM and Vista Mall.
Umuwi sya with our very first washing machine as husband and wife. ♥

My Coffee
Dahil nga sa unintended malling ni boss, nakapag supermarket sya and bought 2 packs of ground coffee.

Good job self for updating your blog. I-celebrate din natin yon.

Stay safe ♥

Pre-Birthday Monologue

I'm turning __! Can you believe it?! 10 years ago I was only __. That's old! I mean what do __-year old people do? How do they think?
Why is my age getting bleeped out?! I'm not ashamed of my age!

I've learned important things as I've grown older.
Among the things that I've learned is, you can use "The fuck /tf" as substitute to the five Ws - Who, What, Where, When, and Why.
eg.
Tf ate my cheesecake?!
Tf is this? (then points at the person you don't know)

That's not the only thing I've learned. I've also learned that when heating your bread (or pizza) using the microwave, you have to put a glass of water (or anything microwave-safe container with water in it) in it so the bread will remain moist. If you need scientific explanation please Google it.
Speaking of Google, another thing that I've learned is you can go to scholar.google.com instead of just regular Google if you want your search to yield studies and other scholarly literature. I mean, everyone is on the web. Stupid people are on the web. I am on the web! You are reading this and this isn't educational at all.

There was one more thing I've learned that wanted to include in this post but forgot, also I do not want to seem so smart.

I want to talk about the things I love. People my age, they usually talk about their children. Can I be honest here? I still don't know if I want kids. I am so fortunate that my husband is okay with that. I think he'd be an awesome father, I can already see it. He will probably be a new version of him that I'll love even more. But I can't look past the responsibilities. I mean I'm so sure that if and when we do decide and be blessed with a child, it will be spectacular. I'm certain it will be a new kind of love I've never felt before and I'll be wondering why it took me so long to do it. But that's a monologue for another time.

Dear future child. I already love you before I met you. And I want to be sure that you have the best, and that includes having the best version of your mother.

For now, let me love a bit selfishly and enjoy the things I have. One of the things I love the most about life, travelling.

The Maldives

I will never be able to justify spending a fortune for beach again. So we did it for our honeymoon.
It sounds so far right? The Maldives. Newsflash - it's still Asia. I hope to travel farther, maybe Europe before I turn 40. I still have _ years so that's fine I guess.

The Philippines

Am I being unfair? I know all of them require their own post (like this and this), but I think I did most so I'll just pick out random photos.

Siquijor

Okay, I'll post my Dumaguete x Siquijor x Apo Island trip soon so I'll skip the rest of those photos.

Lakawon Island

Okay now I'm just tinatamad and so many beaches that I love.
so I'll just cut this post short and continue binge-watching The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

I'm on s02e04 ~~ Zachary Levi is on Mrs Maisel!! My Chuck Bartowski is now an accomplished physician or something.

Let me end this post by claiming my birthday wish:

I wish for this Covid-19 crisis to end!
