MyBus Cebu Appreciation Post

Isa sa mga naka-allot sa budget ko when going to Cebu is yung cab fare going to and from Mactan International Airport.
If one is not familiar with Mactan International Airport, posible mapamahal coz of the Airport cab na nagaabang right outside ng arrival area.
When I was waiting in queue sa regular cab, napansin ko on the other side na may bus na bago - just like the ones in Singapore. Naisip ko baka airport loop - same nung sa NAIA (from Pasay). And I thought, there must be a cheaper way employees commute to the airport. Di naman practical to take a cab everyday to and from. I asked friends pero nag cab na din ako pa-city. So ayun confirmed nga.

Alabang to NAIA Terminal 3.

Coming from Cavite, Alabang ang madalas na way ko pa-airport. From Alabang nag Grab ako kasi may promo naman. Feeling ko nakatipid na ko (less Php 200)!
Few days after I came back, I found out na may Airport Loop pala sa Alabang -- that goes straight to Terminal 3 via Skyway! Haay.  Andun lang sya katabi ng pila ng mga bus pa-Lawton. Nadadaanan ko yun almost everyday. Why did I not see it sooner! Well oo nga pala, nakita ko lang sya nung nag start ako sa morning shift -- which was after I came back from Cebu.
I don't know how much the fare is. And if they only use Beep Card (which was not a problem for me coz I have one). Oh well. Now I know.

Sarah and My Question

Our lives is more than the travel, eat out, purchase, concerts, movie dates, and all other mundane entities we make it appear on social media. A reminder dismissed as often as it is heard, “Life is short”. What can we do to make the most of it, when often times we are just making ends meet?

But why am I asking? I just heard the passing of someone I knew from my younger years. Isn’t it ironic, how news of someone’s passing reminds us to live – Live fully?

Sarah - She was part of my past. We were not close. Not even then and I was dependent on her as I was moved to an unfamiliar place and she was supposed to be my guide. I did not learn much about her as she was quiet most of the time. I was a young stranger who couldn’t speak her language she had to look after. She probably didn’t like me.

A close friend of hers wrote about her on Facebook, and though very sad of Sarah's sudden passing, she wrote “Cheers to a life well-lived”.

I asked myself if people can say the same about how I live my life?

I've been to places but very few.  I did things, some I loved and gave me sense of accomplishment, some as much I try to refrain myself, regret. I heard artists play their songs. It was probably an experience they either cherished or took for granted. I've eaten a lot - especially those of the good ones. I got sick from eating. I gave. I asked for help. I befriended strangers. But I have also burned bridges. I have loved. I've had my heart broken.

More than the things I did and I can remember, my life is how I am remembered. Those moments between words. My quiet time pouring my heart out in my journal. If He suddenly take this gift of life, would my loved ones raise their glasses? 

Sarah, may you rest in peace. 

And you. Life is short. Live life to the fullest!

Notebook Tindahan

I used to hoard notebooks, ticklers, notepads, and other paper products.  Hindi ko na ginagawa ngayon kasi natatambak lang sila. Anyway pag kinailangan ko ulet, meron pa din ako matatakbuhan.

The Landmark Makati

Of course Landmark offers much cheaper finds. So even if I already got one nung "perfect size" na hanap ko from The Paper Stone, bumili pa din ako sa Landmark a week or two after, since napadpad kami dun. I like the magaspang texture of the notebook from Landmark. Sana di masayang!
