Project CKGA, My Wedding Preps Journey. Ep 1

We got engaged February of 2017 pa and now it’s just 3 months away 'til our big day!  I don’t want to keep saying na stressed ako, I think bridechilla pa nga ako e. Nag emotional breakdown ba ko? Maybe, tapos ni-repress ko na lang sa memory ko lol. So, what do I want to talk about sa post na ‘to? Nothing in particular; may pag episode 1 pa kong nalalaman, pusta ko, 1 and only post lang to about our wedding preps.
Active member na ko sa Girltalk prior to getting engaged. Pero di ko rin naman pinupuntahan mga Wedding and Engagement threads; only during the time na tinulungan ko friend ko who got married last 2013. Anyway, super hands on ako since wala naman kami wedding planner. Right now, almost all of our suppliers our booked. Isa siguro sa major pa na need ko na asikasuhin is yung entourage’s dress, and of course the wedding documents which is ongoing na naman.
Wala talaga ako maisip na i-post. Etong mga Instax na lang ng OOTD nung engagement shoot namin and a brief review of that experience.

We had our engagement shoot last Monday September 17th. Super fun but super kapagod too!

It’s pretty obvious how inlove ako sa mga nice interior especially pag may pagka modern and industrial design. So nung nag search ako, yung style ang isa sa main criteria ko. Other contenders are:

• Industriya Marikina
• Artesania (formerly Mozaic Living)
• B Hotel Quezon City
• Habitual Coffee Makati
• FJ Sionson Studio

Then I found Domicillo Design Hotel in Tagaytay. Kahit hindi naman bago sakin yung Tagaytay, I’m still surprised nung nalaman ko where this hotel is located. So mga ilang years ko na sya nadadaanan, pero di ko alam of its existence.

As an engagement shoot venue, I’d rate it siguro as 4/5. I hope nakuhanan nila p/v yung hotel so I can post some of them once I get a copy of our shoot.  The hotel as a prenup shoot venue is sapat na. We made use of our room of course plus the garden with the lake view – ugh ang ganda, the hallway, lobby, view deck, lounge, mini garden, and a little bit of the Starbucks which recently opened.

Helpful naman yung marketing rep na nag assist sakin, kaso medyo nagulo lang sa usapan sa time na pwede mag shoot.

As a place to have staycation 3.5/5 lang siguro. The room could use a more thorough cleaning. So-so lang rin yung set breakfast na sinerve, medyo matigas pa yung fried rice; the coffee was good though. I love the king sized bed and the comfy pillows. Super spacious yung room pwede magsayaw sa magkabilang side ng bed. But nawala yung “exclusive feel”  - which they boast on their website dahil nga may Starbucks na.

Official Arte Day 5-Month Late Post

Giniftan ako ni tita Le ng hair makeover! We stayed overnight too. Watched Netflix - particularly the film Big Fish. We also played a game in which we described yung plot without mentioning characters and your partner will guess what film. Sa tagal ng post na 'to, di ko na matandaan kung sino nanalo. Kami ni Nicki partner, then si tita and Ali. I think they won.

I went online shopping last December and am just posting it now

I purchased a few COSRX products on BeautyMNL last December and have been too lazy to post it on this blog.

I am not even remotely close to being a beauty blogger. I don’t check beauty blogs, makeup/skincare vlogs, or online product review. But, shinare ng ate ni Ali how COSRX products worked on her, so I read about it on (pause.. parang may kaaway na naman si Tisoy na ibang pusa) Okay, I’m back. Yes may kaaway na naman si Tisoy. Noisy. Going back, so I read about COSRX on Girltalk. Maraming positive reviews so I decided to give it a go.

I posted this photo before, but na-mention ko si Tisoy, so here he is again.

1.       Acne Pimple Master Patch 3/5

It works on “ripe” pimples. It absorbs the pus which is said to reduce swelling and redness. It doesn’t work on cystic kind of pimples, which sadly, is the kind I get half the time.  There is no antibacterial action happening.

2.       Centella Blemish Cream – 2/5

I’m not hiyang with this product. I actually suspect that my skin reacts badly to this. I had such high hopes, coz I want to get rid of my plethora of pimple marks. Another major con - this teeny tiny tub costs around P920 (iirc). Naka-tengga na sya, and I kinda want to throw it away na.

3.       Oil Free Ultra-Moisturizing Lotion  4/5

Finally, something I love. May pag glow effect sya in the morning. Hindi mainit sa face. It’s not sticky and matipid gamitin. I really don’t know how effective it is to be honest. Nananalig lang ako.
