Giniftan ako ni tita Le ng hair makeover! We stayed overnight too. Watched Netflix - particularly the film Big Fish. We also played a game in which we described yung plot without mentioning characters and your partner will guess what film. Sa tagal ng post na 'to, di ko na matandaan kung sino nanalo. Kami ni Nicki partner, then si tita and Ali. I think they won.

I went online shopping last December and am just posting it now

I purchased a few COSRX products on BeautyMNL last December and have been too lazy to post it on this blog.

I am not even remotely close to being a beauty blogger. I don’t check beauty blogs, makeup/skincare vlogs, or online product review. But, shinare ng ate ni Ali how COSRX products worked on her, so I read about it on (pause.. parang may kaaway na naman si Tisoy na ibang pusa) Okay, I’m back. Yes may kaaway na naman si Tisoy. Noisy. Going back, so I read about COSRX on Girltalk. Maraming positive reviews so I decided to give it a go.

I posted this photo before, but na-mention ko si Tisoy, so here he is again.

1.       Acne Pimple Master Patch 3/5

It works on “ripe” pimples. It absorbs the pus which is said to reduce swelling and redness. It doesn’t work on cystic kind of pimples, which sadly, is the kind I get half the time.  There is no antibacterial action happening.

2.       Centella Blemish Cream – 2/5

I’m not hiyang with this product. I actually suspect that my skin reacts badly to this. I had such high hopes, coz I want to get rid of my plethora of pimple marks. Another major con - this teeny tiny tub costs around P920 (iirc). Naka-tengga na sya, and I kinda want to throw it away na.

3.       Oil Free Ultra-Moisturizing Lotion  4/5

Finally, something I love. May pag glow effect sya in the morning. Hindi mainit sa face. It’s not sticky and matipid gamitin. I really don’t know how effective it is to be honest. Nananalig lang ako.

I am getting depressed with all these pimples on my face. I think I need to follow the dermatologist’s recommendation of getting regular exercise. And then maybe scratch my “routine” and go with what she prescribed.

That’s free consultation on her. I really hope it works. But man, that exercise stuff, I don’t know if I can commit.

Why was I not blessed with nice skin???????????? T_T

Mommy's 61st Birthday

We had a lovely weekend at The Bayleaf in General Trias to celebrate mom’s birthday!

I will make a birthday post for mine, though things we did would somewhat be like this – pool for the kids, food, and family time.

So, The Bayleaf Hotel, it’s less than an hour away from our house. I picked out this hotel for the benefit of the twins. They live so close, they can drop by, hangout and swim with us, and then if they get cranky, they can easily go home, of course not by themselves. Plus si k’A ang kinontrata kong driver nila Mommy and payag sya.

Taaagaallll kausap ng mga kapatid ko about this. I was forcing them to book a room as well. Finally, sister did.

Like most of my other posts, I will just dump photos. But  allow me to paste here my Agoda review.

Stayed 1 night in May 2018

"Value for money. Nice pool. ”

My nephews and niece had a great time at the pool. The bed (in the quad room) is comfortable and the pillows are soft and fluffy. The beds in the triple room are too high. It's not safe for family with young children. The breakfast is okay, but could use improvement with its variety. The staff are also friendly and prompt attending to our requests. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.
